Eastwood Heights Public School is located in a quiet suburban area in Eastwood. The grounds are extensive, providing large areas for play, recreation and sporting activities. This school is seen as being a family school and enjoys a great deal of community support. A committed and professional staff works in partnership to achieve the best possible outcomes. A caring, welcoming ethos is evident and a strong emphasis is placed on the students accepting responsibility for their actions and learning.
The school’s aim is to ensure all students learn to their maximum potential by focusing on enhancing and maintaining a positive and cooperative educational environment that produces literate, numerate and technologically competent and caring citizens. We aim to develop happy, self-directed students who will pursue lifelong learning and who will give their best always. A strong expectation of self-discipline ensures fairness and safety for all students. The school’s values and welfare programs promote civic responsibility and community values.
